Wednesday Night Bible Study: 7:00PM in the Office area the adults will be studying in the book of Hebrews.
Senior Luncheon: Potluck on Wednesday, October 17 at 11:30AM in the fellowship hall. Tenders, rolls, and drinks provided. Please bring a side or dessert.
OCC Dedication Service: Sunday, November 11 at 6:00PM. Shoeboxes and labels are in the front side pew.
Deacon Family Dinner: Saturday, October 20 at 6:00PM at the shelter. A count is needed so contact Don Story at 606-282-3379 by October 7.
LC WMU Project: We will be doing Christmas Backpacks again to be distributed to children in the state in poverty and others to needy children in our partnership SEND city of Cincinnati. A list of items needed is in the bulletin insert. Estimated cost is $50. Any questions contact Annette Story at 365-2050. Backpacks are due October 15-19 at the association office from 9AM-12PM.
Retirement Celebration: Joy Bolton, Executive Director of Kentucky WMU, is retiring at the and of October. Retirement Celebration will be Friday, October 26 at 7:00PM at First Baptist Church in Shelbyville. Sign sheet on Mission Bulletin Board if interested. Van will leave church at 4:30PM.
MasterLife: Bro. Kyle will be leading a MasterLife group Sunday afternoons from 5-6:00PM. The group will start October 14 and end on November 18. See Bro. Kyle if interested. The workbook cost is $10.
Adult Christmas Musical Rehearsal: The adult choir will be performing “Hope Has Hands” led by Jerry Hampton. Rehearsal will be every Sunday starting September 16 at 5:00PM until the performance.
The Secret of Snowflake County: All kids K-6th grade are invited to join us during the 11:00AM service in the GLOW room to worship, sing, praise, and learn a Christmas musical.
2018 Winter Xtreme Conference: The Youth will be attending the Winter Xtreme Conference December 29-31 in Gatlinburg, TN. Reserve your spot with a $50 deposit. See Joseph Hampton.
