Thanks for visiting the website of Pleasant View’s Youth Ministry. If you are in grades 7-12, There is a place here for you no matter where you are, and no matter what you have or haven’t done. We want you to know that God loves you, and wants to have a relationship with you. The goal of our Student Ministry Staff is to give students an opportunity to

  • Lift God: To have a relationship with God through Jesus Christ
  • Lift Others: To Strengthen Faith through Bible Study, Small Group Discussion, and Worship
  • Serve the World: To give opportunities to Serve Christ by following the Great Commission

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Matthew 28:19

Why is it called Elevation Student Ministry?
It is our hope to Elevate Christ in the lives of our students and to those who may not know Him.  It is our desire to Lift up Christ, Lift up others, and to Serve the world.

Why is there a Tree in the logo?
The use of the tree is with the hopes that it will give our students opportunites to share with friends, coworkers, etc about Christ.  In Acts 10 Peter is talking to a group of people and says:
39“We are witnesses of everything he did in the country of the Jews and in Jerusalem. They killed him by hanging him on a tree, 40but God raised him from the dead on the third day and caused him to be seen.
It is our hope that when people see the tree on our student’s T-shirts they may ask why the tree is there.  This will give our students the opportunity to share the above verse, explain the cross, and explain Christ.
